Job Title: Interior Designer
Job Description
Assist a Senior Designer with various design tasks for home remodels, additions, and new construction projects. This role involves supporting material selections, including flooring, cabinetry, countertops, tile, hardware, and finishes, as well as coordinating with clients and vendors.
Responsibilities
Assist other Designer in design tasks for home remodels, additions, and new construction projects.
Support material selections such as flooring, cabinetry, countertops, tile, hardware, and finishes.
Gather quotes by meeting with vendors and organize pricing for client review.
Coordinate with clients to discuss material options, pricing, and next steps.
Maintain organized project files, samples, and documentation.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in interior design and residential architecture.
Experience with AutoCAD and Chief Architecture.
Ability to work with construction documents and perform data entry.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
3-4 years of design experience or a degree in interior design.
Experience with CAD.
Professional communication skills.
Work Environment
The role involves working in a collaborative environment with a focus on residential projects. Candidates should be comfortable with design software such as AutoCAD and Chief Architecture. The position requires professional communication and the ability to coordinate with clients and vendors effectively.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nicholasville, KY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.25/hr.
